College & graduate admission consulting services
Founded by graduates of Cornell and Brown Universities, we provide in-home and remote college and graduate essay planning and editing services, with a primary focus on making your college application package the best it can be.
Every essay is read and approved by two Ivy League graduates.
Your words count for approximately 25% of the overall application decision. 25%! That is around the same percentage as the other three major factors that will ultimately decide to your acceptance: 1. Your GPA, 2. Your numbers (SAT/ACT/Subject tests), and 3. Your overall package (ie. Extra curricular activities, other intangible factors). Our process includes helping you choose your schools, organize your application process, pick your essay topics, and make your writing stand out from the crowd. We specialize in college and graduate admissions, and work hand in hand with your school’s college counselor to help you build a successful and well-rounded application package that truly reflects the very best of you.
What is your dream school? What do you want to major in? What are some life experiences that had an impact on you? What do you want the admissions committee to know about you that they can’t find in the rest of your application? These are the kinds of questions to ask yourself when choosing essay topics. And we can help.
If you are applying to the recommended 8-12 schools, don’t write 8-12 unique essays! Our job is to help you to organize your list of schools so you can write as few essays as possible. We have edited over 500 college and graduate application essays, manuscripts, novels, peer-reviewed scientific articles, and dissertations. We are meticulous and efficient: the best qualities in an editor.
Academic essays deserve attention, too. Whether it’s a report about Holden Caulfield’s psychological profile, or what really happened during the Cold War, we can help your writing be clear, forceful, and beautiful.
Don’t forget about your job hunt or scholarship applications! Curriculum vitae (CVs), resumes, and cover letters can make the difference between getting that interview and disappearing into the crowd. Ask us how we can help you stand out from the beginning.
When you work with IvyApproved, you get the personal cell phone number of at least one team member. We’re on call so that you can get the assistance you need when you need it most.
